The owner and the staff are very friendly, helpful and warm. The dinner was always a culinary event. It is an old medieval casa which was completely renovated, but its medieval beauty was preserved. Each room has its unique design. It is definitely good choice

Lovely views,lovely rooms and very close to handy for Besalu and the volcanic region.Swimming pool was an added bonus.

It really feels like it's out in the country. There were few if any other buildings nearby and it was the quietest place I've ever slept outside of a desert. The rooms (we had two, one for us, one for our two sons) were large and comfortable. There is a very nice, large pool. Overall it was very relaxing there. It was also a good base to explore the Catalan countryside.

It was not as nice as the prices they charge led us to expect. There was little attention to detail. The staff, while pleasant, were not very attentive or numerous, and could be hard to find. The quality of the food was inconsistent. We had dinner included in our reservations and so ate there four times. Two meals were quite good and two were not. The (included) breakfasts were the typical European buffet of pastries, cereal, yogurt, sliced cheese/meat, but little selection and of low to average quality. The pool area is rather run down, and there were only five lounge chairs, so never enough for everyone.
